Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data interface requirements for the robotics system.
• Analyze large and complex surgical robotics datasets to develop actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Develop data model and transformation layers.
• Identify and develop tools to enable data use cases.
• Analyze data and support use cases for R&D cross-functional teams.
• Present findings in a clear and compelling manner through data visualization and reports.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize existing models and algorithms.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Professional Experience/Background to be successful in this role:
• MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Robotics, or other closely related fields, with at least 3 years of professional experience (recent graduates with exceptional expertise will be considered).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong background in statistics; a good understanding of machine learning algorithms and methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g. Spark) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a solid quantitative mindset.
• Ability to work with large datasets and derive data-driven analysis to support the product design decision-making process.
• Experience with Databricks data platform is required.
