This individual will be instrumental in driving our software architecture, ensuring that our embedded systems are reliable, scalable, and ready for mass production. The candidate will have significant opportunities for personal growth and impact on future product designs.Responsibilities:

• Lead and scale a small but growing team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Oversee the entire embedded software development lifecycle, from architecture design to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Drive the maturation and innovation of our embedded software architecture, ensuring it meets the needs of our next-generation electric RVs.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams to integrate software with hardware components, ensuring seamless operation of our systems.
• Lead the development of diagnostics, algorithms, and system monitoring features to enhance the performance and reliability of our products.
• Navigate production challenges and ensure that our software systems are robust and ready for mass deployment.Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in embedded software development, with a strong track record of releasing products into the hands of customers.
  • Extensive experience in the automotive, electric vehicle, or aerospace industry, particularly in developing and deploying embedded software systems.
  • Proven experience in shipping products, preferably from innovative startups.
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach, capable of building trust and guiding teams through complex software development challenges.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), software for safety-critical systems, and embedded C/C++.
