Make in this Role:As a Business Development Manager for TEBG
located in the Bay Area, you will have the opportunity to tap into
your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and
diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact
by:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with hyperscale
customers. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver custom
solutions based on customer needs.
- Working with cross-functional teams to create custom proposals,
quotes, and pricing models that meet customer specifications and
company profitability goals.
- Conducting market analysis to identify trends, customer needs,
and competitive positioning in the high-speed cable assembly
market. Develop and implement growth strategies for existing and
new customers.
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of high-speed cable assembly
products and industry standards. Stay updated on technological
advancements to provide expert consultation to customers.
- Developing partnerships with suppliers, manufacturers, and
other stakeholders to enhance product offerings and expand market
reach.Your Skills and Expertise:To set you up for success in this
role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following
qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing or
Engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)
- Four (4) years of experience in Global sales, business
development, product management within high-speed copper or optical
industry specific to Hyperscale Data Centers in a private, public,
government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that
could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering from an
accredited institution
- Eight (8) years with high-speed copper or optical applications
for data center customers
- Five (5) years of direct experience with hyperscale data center
customers
- Experience working with a cross-functional team to introduce
new and existing products to key customers.
- Project Management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Salesforce Experience
- Proficient Presentation Skills
- Proficient Communication Skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationallyWork
Location: San Francisco/San Jose (remote)Travel: May include up to
