and environmental change. The center prepares GSB students to apply

teach the skills needed to address them, inspire a life of action,
build community, and reduce the financial burdens of pursuing
impact careers. Housed in CSI and led by Professor Brian S. Lowery,
the Leadership for Society Program (L4S) provides students with the
opportunity to develop an understanding of the most pressing
societal issues of today and grow the cultural intelligence
necessary to foster open and productive dialog across wide-ranging
world views. Its north star is to enable students to be more useful
humans.We are now seeking a Program Manager to support the
Leadership for Society Program. The Program Manager will work as
part of the CSI team to ensure that GSB students, speakers, and
external participants enjoy a high-quality, well-run educational
program. The Program Manager will support all areas of the L4S
program in a variety of programmatic, communications, and
operational tasks including: event planning, researching speakers
and themes, logistics, and publicity of L4S programs, courses, and
events, including the annual Daring Dialogues conversations series.
This position reports to the CSI Director and works closely with
the L4S faculty director and affiliated faculty.The successful
candidate will be excited to learn and collaborate as part of a
driven, diverse team. They will be relentlessly curious and
demonstrate positive stakeholder engagement, project management,
attention to detail, keen analytical skills, data analysis
experience, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

based on Stanford's main campus. Due to the nature of the L4S
program, this position must be available to work onsite occasional
evenings and weekends for programmatic events.CORE DUTIES*:
- Assist faculty and senior staff in managing the development,
planning, implementation, administration, and evaluation of the
Leadership for Society program.
- Assist with event planning, organization, logistics, and
publicity of L4S programs, courses, and events, including the
annual Daring Dialogues conversations series and multi-day
simulations.
- Assist in the administration and delivery of courses. Advise on
the development of curriculum. Make recommendations for course
improvements.
- Develop, implement, and assess outreach strategy related to
program communications, development, partnerships, and
fundraising.
- Produce communications content on the speaker series to be used
in external communications on GSB social media pages, YouTube, and
paid social media campaigns.
- Maintain and update L4S pages on GSB internal and external
websites.
- Interface with GSB marketing and communications team; identify
and manage external vendors for design, production, marketing, and
communications support as needed.
- Implement online learning platforms and support Zoom sessions,
which may include managing polls, breakout rooms, recordings, and
attendance tracking.
- Source, collect, and analyze program data, create reports,
review and explain trends; formulate and evaluate alternative
solutions and/or recommendations to improve program activities,
policies, and operations, and to achieve the goals of the
program.
- Contribute to new program themes, conversation topics, and
speakers.
- Monitor expenses, budgets, and finances of the program. Make
recommendations on funding based on program spend.
- Represent Leadership for Society to students and to the broader
university, external community, and other stakeholders. Engage
policymakers, industry leaders, and other experts for conversation
series.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience or
combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Excellent oral, written, and analytical skills, exhibiting
fluency in area of specialization.
- Ability to oversee and direct staff.
- Ability to develop program partnership.
- Basic knowledge of managing budgets and developing financial
plans.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.PREFERRED
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work with a wide range of people including students,
faculty members, vendors, and other staff and administrators.
- Experience with program management, communications, and event
planning, including email programs and multi-day events with a
range of stakeholders.
- Experience with producing website copy and using a content
management system (CMS).
- Understanding of podcast/webinar production and promotion to a
range of professional target audiences.The expected annualized pay
range for this position at 100% FTE is $111,866 to $146,847 per
year. The actual pay will be pro-rated based on the 50% FTE
position.Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its
