Team, Your ImpactThe Optics team builds highly integrated component
platforms with high speed Silicon photonics, transmit and receive
amplifiers, controller ASIC's with Marvell DSP's. These components
are made operational with a highly functional embedded firmware.
The team is responsible for design, verification, and validation of
these integrated high speed optical components. The team performs
system level testing under various operating conditions, and
validates the performance of the hardware, firmware and control
loops. A program manager in this team will be involved in a full
product lifecycle and will carry new products from inception all
the way to NPI.What You Can Expect
- Create and manage program schedules
- Ensure Engineering team is tracking to schedule
- Manage product lifecycle planning and documentation
- Manage device and board tapeout processes
- Manage outside processing vendors and material handling during
Engineering/prototyping phase
- Interface with customers on schedule and program status
- Support annual planning and budgeting process
- Track planned to actual for all resources (human, capital,
operational)
- Continuous improvement on program process
- Interface with corporate program management officeWhat We're
Looking For
- BS or MS in engineering or related field
- 8+ years program or project management experience
- 5+ years in team leadership position, or driving
cross-functional teams
- 3+ Experience negotiating with vendors and customersThe ideal
candidate:
- Pays meticulous attention to detail
- Is capable of managing complex projects with many moving pieces
and interdependencies
- Has strong communications and collaborations skills
- Possesses some knowledge of optical communications
- Possesses some experience in managing multi-chip
modulesExpected Base Pay Range (USD)162,510 - 243,500, $ per
annumThe successful candidate's starting base pay will be
determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications,
work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range
for this role may be modified based on market conditions.Additional
