Our client is an electric vehicle manufacturer and automotive technology company based in Palo Alto, CA. We are searching for a Senior Wireless Systems Engineer for a 6-month contract engagement.Title: Senior Wireless Systems EngineerOpen positions: 2Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote (M-W-F generally - with flexibility depending on business needs)Location: Palo Alto, CA 94304Schedule: 8a-5p / 9a-6pResponsibilities:

• Design and develop modern wireless (Cellular and/or Wi-Fi) software stack and algorithms for Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies cutting-edge connectivity system.
• Design and implement state machines for control, data, and voice services for interfaces with 5G/Wi-Fi modules.
• Develop object-oriented designs, abstraction layers, middleware, and system services for embedded Linux systems.
• Define and implement good power, connection, and network policy management for various network scenarios.
• Collaborate with other HW, BSP, wireless software developers, system architecture, and test teams in architecting a scalable software platform.
• Ensure good software architecture practices are followed across the team; actively contribute to code and design reviews; perform unit testing to deliver high-quality software.Skills: 5G Networks, C++, Cellular Communications, Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN).***This specific role does not allow for C2C consultants.******Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.***
