Software Engineer role, you will lead and develop backend services
for GM Commercial Services' new software solution. This role
provides a unique opportunity where you will be working across all
of the GM Commercial Services software products, and truly steering
the future of GM Commercial Services' web applications, products,

- Collaborate with the product to implement responsive, visually
appealing functionality using React. Ensure the usability and
accessibility of web applications for a wide range of users.
- Creation of a seamless user experience
- Build and launch new capabilities and products that bring
significant value to customers internal and external
- Uphold our high engineering standards. Elevate quality and
engineering efficiency within our codebases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization including
product, design, and other engineering functions.
- Mentor engineers earlier in their technical career to help them
grow.
- Explore new technologies and enrich our technological
stack.
- Actively participate in technical discussions and deep dives
with architectural groups.Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on web application development
- Strong understanding and experience with React, Redux, and
design systems.
- Write high quality production code that is tested thoroughly,
supported by clear documentation and has appropriate production
observability
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an
agile development environment.
- Experience working independently and drive features or
components throughout the development lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative
mindset.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, OO, data structures, and
algorithms.
- Experience Building and Launching Web ApplicationsPreferred
Qualifications
- Strong product focus and acumen.
- Experience with IoT stack is a big plus
- A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry
trends and technologies.
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science/Engineering preferredThis role is
categorized as Hybrid. This means the successful candidate is
expected to report onsite three times (Tue., Wed., Thurs.) per week
at minimum.Compensation and BenefitsThe annual salary range for
this role is $152,100 - $232,900. The actual base salary a
successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary
based on factors relevant to the position.Bonus Potential: An
incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance,
