Position Details:
--- Title: Electrical and Controls Technician
--- Location: Sacramento, CA
--- Travel/Schedule: 1st shift (Mon-Friday)
--- Compensation: Target base rate -$40/hr - $44/hr

Position Description: As an Electrical and Controls Technician you will work as a technical leader in support of manufacturing goals, and be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs of electrical problems on complex packaging equipment. You will also be the lead electrical technician on new equipment upgrades and installations. Some other specific responsibilities include:
--- Identify inputs and outputs as per schematics and troubleshoot circuits, switches, relays, etc.
--- Mark and disconnect wiring, run wire per electrical code, trace circuits, and rewire machines.
--- Install and troubleshoot AC and DC drives with minimum supervision
--- Troubleshoot PLCs and use electrical meters.
--- Assume active technical role in overall plant and facilities maintenance work.
--- Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
--- Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards.

In order to be successful in this role, you should have an extensive working knowledge of electrical maintenance as it pertains to industrial equipment/manufacturing equipment (PLCs, automaton, motors, controls, etc).
