About CharmOur mission is to return the atmosphere to 280 ppm
CO---. We convert excess inedible biomass into carbon-rich bio-oil
and inject it into underground storage for permanent carbon
removal. At scale we can use bio-oil to make fossil-free iron.Our
carbon removal pathway took off in 2020 with initial purchases from
customers like Stripe, Shopify & Microsoft. Since then we've scaled
to , over a hundred employees, and now have three locations in San
Francisco, Colorado, and Kansas. Come join us in 2024 as we aim to

- This role is the 'tip of the spear' of Charm Industrial's
go-to-market (GTM) team. To date fewer than 50 companies have made
large carbon dioxide removal purchases. But over the next 24 months
this number will increase dramatically as corporate net zero
objectives become more concrete and companies take action to
achieve them.
- This role will report to the Sales Lead.Your Responsibilities
- Enterprise Sales Development:
- Prospect and qualify potential clients for our enterprise
carbon removal solutions, with an average deal size of more than $5
million.
- Conduct thorough research on target companies and key
decision-makers to tailor our approach.
- Engage with C-level executives and senior decision-makers
through various channels, including cold calling, email, and social
media.
- Schedule and set up high-quality appointments for senior sales
executives.
- Manage and nurture leads through the initial stages of our
9-month sales cycle.
- Collaborate closely with the senior sales team to ensure smooth
handoffs and provide valuable insights on prospects.
- Maintain accurate records in our CRM system and provide regular
reports on activities and pipeline.
- Conferences and Events Activation:
- Own the program coordination for Charm's presence at industry
conferences and events to ensure Charm is engaging the right
stakeholders amongst private sector buyers.
- Research new conferences to attend with the right stakeholders
for private sector sales success.
- Run targeted outreach to conference speakers and
attendees.
- Support the organization and execution of private events during
industry conferences.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development,
preferably in a technical or complex sales environment or pivoting
from investment banking or STEM fields.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage
effectively with senior executives.
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify and qualify
potential opportunities.
- Resilience and persistence, with the ability to handle
objections and maintain a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
- Understanding of enterprise sales cycles and B2B sales
